The people of Welland have been generous to help their neighbours in need for 27 years. This year, when it is needed more than ever, we are asking you to be generous again. Out of an abundance of caution, we will not be going door to door to collect food, but ask you to donate to our virtual food drive. Before COVID thousands of people in Welland already struggled to put food on the table. Now, as people have been greatly affected by the COVID crisis, job losses and business closures, and CERB and other government supports are being rolled back, we expect an increase in need.
