Thank you to all who read the call in the recent "Canora Chronicle" and have renewed memberships - and made kind donations to the cause. Through your efforts - the Canadian Northern Society has preserved the most historically accurate and unique collection of conserved heritage railway depots in western Canada. Be proud of this, we are "Capturing History and Building Community" - our stated objective. There are several incomplete projects waiting for volunteer help - likely ...now in spring given the impending cooler weather: - the continued assistance with exterior paint for the Donalda railway station. - completing exterior painting - under eaves, storm windows, second floor trim at Big Valley. - Meeting Creek storm window repair and paint.
