Here are some fun cards that were delivered last week. I have heard that they all went out in the mail last week.

I wasn't up to doing much on the weekend but I did get these coloured and ready to go on cards.

These candles are battery operated and with last for 120 hours. They are perfect for folks in retirement homes or long term care because they don't have an open flame. They are available to local pick up and delivery only as it is getting too cold to ship them.

Thank you for your patience. The last couple of days have been very stressful as our dear little family member suddenly started experiencing health problems. After a horrendous experience at a vet clinic she is back home and doing better. Regular programing and work can now return. I will draw the winner for Mail-A-Card-Monday shortly.

These cards are $5.25 each. They took longer to make and were more expensive to make. They were worth the effort though. I love making baby cards. Techniques used include shaker card, embossing and piecing, paper tole and step fold card.

I had a customer asking about new baby boy cards and realized that there are cards in my stock that don't always get featured so i am going to start trying to share more of my work each day. If you see something you would like please get in touch with me.

Eight years ago today I took a leap of faith and started Cameron Cards. I have been making cards since my early teen years and decided that this was a great way to share what I love. I started out with a Facebook page and regular visits to area retirement homes where residents could purchase and order custom cards without having to go out. I loved getting to know my customers and hearing their stories. Fast forward to 2020 where the world is so different. I haven't been t...o a retirement home since March. I miss my friends. For a while I kept busy with a volunteering. I organized a group of volunteers that grew bigger than I could have imagined. They made scrub caps, masks and isolation gowns which were donated to places in need all around us. Now I am back to card making, fighting the never ending battle to tidy my craft room and trying to re-invent a an new direction for Cameron Cards. I am working on developing a website and hope to start doing more on social media. For my customers I am developing two new programs a frequent buyer program and a card kit program with instructions online. I continue to sell Stampin' Up supplies for those who want to try making cards themselves. I can't wait to share all of my new ideas with you. ...and just like that it feels like fall. Time to get some fall themed cards ready. I have a feeling that Thanksgiving won't be quite the same this year so I will be sending more notes and cards to family and friends.

This past weekend was a busy one. Yesterday it was nice to take some time to celebrate my mother-in-law Marlene's birthday. Today I am back in my craft room planning some special activities. Mail A Card Monday will resume next week.
