I know this is not paddling related but, why not use this moisture twice. Once as snow, and then of course, next spring when it runs out of the Hills.

If you are lucky enough to live in the Hat, there is open water most of the winter.

A few hours on the Bow, Gap Lake to the Beach.

A little smokey. Bow River Exshaw. Took a few hours off from construction to do a little whitewater. I didn't get pictures of the nine year old and the eleven year old in the really challenging water because I was busy trying not to swim. Their first time on "class" 1-2 whitewater, only one close call. They did amazing!!

Today, Carefree Adventures was at Cabri Regional Park. Two different groups hit the water for some fun and lessons. Their season is coming to an end, but if you are looking to plan a kayak adventure, be sure to get in touch with John.

Had a wonderful kayak clinic at Cabri Regional Park today. It got a little breezy in the afternoon. The Park is locate on Lake Diefenbaker about 20 minutes from Cabri and a 1 day paddle (depending on the wind) west of the Sask Landing.

I spent the day with Carefree Adventures and 2 groups of people fairly new to kayaking. I think some of them found a new hobby! They are starting a paddling club in the Cabri area, so let me know if you are interested in more information.

Medicine Hat Paddling Club... Who is up for a Full Moon Paddle on Tuesday, 01/September? Moon Rise is at 20:27 @ 110o (ESE). I suggest we leave the Strathcona Ramp at 18:15, and head upstream; Flow rates are low, so should be a good Upstream Paddle. Please let me know if there is interest.... To Paddle You do need a full 360o White Light. COVID19 Protocalls do apply. [email protected] or [email protected]

A couple of coyotes, close up also.Alexi almost had a mother duck in her boat. The turtles were shy, only gilimpses. It was smokin hot, a GREAT day for a paddle thanks to Lyle, Anna, Suzanne and Alexi.
