It's September! And while that usually means that programs start up again at the Carman Family Resource Centre...things are quite different this year. The Centre is officially open, though, and plans for programs are in the works! Please be patient, as space will need to be found and Covid safety protocols will need to be put in place. Also, please keep an eye on this page for a fundraiser that will start next week! We will be selling Colibri bags, masks and straws for your family's needs! While the Carman Family Resource Centre is closed for the summer, Public Health is open and have asked that we share this information. Southern Health's Healthy Baby Program will be held at Kings Park by the pool from 10 am - Noon on the following Tuesdays: July 28, August 11 and August 25. Please contact Carman Public Health at 204-745-2426 for more information.

Kit & Kaboodle starts tomorrow and we would love to have you join us! Spring is coming and that is always a great time to enjoy the fun at one of our most favorite programs! Kit & Kaboodle features songs, rhymes, a game, book sharing & snack for children and their parents/caregivers at every session. This 6-week program will be held on Wednesday mornings... from 10:00 11:30 am at the Centre on March 11, 18 & 25 and April 8, 15 & 22. Welcome March! We have endings and beginnings... Shake, Rattle & Roll will finish up this week Friday - be sure to join us for the last day! And next week Wednesday, March 11 we get started with six weeks of Kit & Kaboodle! It's always lots of fun - check out our newsletter for all the details and contact the Centre to register. This week, there is also Stay & Play on Thursday morning from 10 - 11:45 am and Family Gym Night from 6-7 pm.
