Member HIGHLIGHT of the Month. Proud to celebrate all Maye's Fitness highlights this year and many prior! She also left out she has completed an Iron Man in Lake Placid (has the tattoo to prove it) Proud to be part of those strong arms, healthy heart and your love of coffee! How long have you been with CDFW? MAYE: It’s been part of my life for the last 15 years, interrupted at times with hectic work schedule. ... ________________________________________________________________ What's one word to describe your association with CDFW? MAYE: Partnership _________________________________________________________________ What got you interested in Fitness and how do you stay committed? MAYE: I always believed that staying fit will keep me looking young and healthy inside out. Having a schedule in place keeps me committed. ________________________________________________________________ What results are you most proud of? Maye: Being consistent with my workouts ________________________________________________________________ Did you think 7 months ago you'd be able to commit to Regular VIRTUAL WORKOUTS? Maye: No way, I thought I would be board in no time but working out with Karen is so much fun and challenging, at the same time, which kept me going. ________________________________________________________________ Maye: What is your weekly schedule ? I love starting my Monday /Wednesday morning with PT and coffee with Karen , then I alternate for the rest of the week between weight training and cardio ( biking and running). ________________________________________________________________ There are over 75+ Workouts in our V- LIBRAY, What has been your top 3 V-WORKOUTS thus far? MAYE: I love the first squats/ barre workout around the kitchen table and the last two wall workouts. ___________________________________________________________________ What's your favorite type of workout? Favorite piece of equipment? What do you dread? Maye: I love lifting weights, makes me feel strong and running. TRX, Gerti ball( don’t leave home without it) I dread pull ups and I’m happy we don’t do them _________________________________________________________________ Final thoughts? Goals for future fitness? Maye: I'm beyond grateful to be able to train and stay fit mentally and physically. Goals: Master 3 yoga poses by incorporating one hour yoga per week to start with fall in love with biking all over again( start with biking twice a week) keep up with weight training . stay positive and focused while having fun
