At least 10 years ago I met this random girl on Tumblr who I found out lived in Hamilton. We stayed in touch through social media awkwardly throughout the years. I photographed their family a few years ago at this same location. I remember reading Meg make a post once that the photoshoot was one of her favourite memories. When Jonathan asked and suggested we reuse the spot, it was brilliant! It was a pleasure to be a part of this surprise and I am so excited for these three #engaged #engagement #surprise

Just a couple from our session Saturday - Someone was looking out for us, I swear. The sky was BLACK and RAINY my entire drive to this session, then suddenly as I pulled into the location, out popped a TINY patch of sunlight and clear skies! Blessed <3

Last night I was saddened to hear of the passing of a photographer whom I met many years ago, when I was first starting out with photography Cat was an amazing artist, model & photographer. Although I did not know her very well, we stayed in touch on social media over the years. We first met in June 2011 when I had entered the Welland Juried Art Show. I recall one of her winning pieces was a photograph of a pair of converse...something that instantly bonded us.... She inspired me to pursue my dreams and gave me the confidence to take my business further. I don't know where I'd be if I had not met Cat that day. She radiated positive energy and happiness. Every person we meet in our life serves a purpose. Every person has the opportunity to grace us with some sort of lesson. In honour of Cat, comment a brief story of someone you met that made a lasting impact on your life let's spread some positive energy for this beautiful girl. Cassie
