FIT KIDS SHARE IN YOUR STORY I was really hoping and counting on my kids going back to school this week- and unfortunately for our kids, they are not going back for at least two weeks... #fml I don't know about you, but my kids literally did NOT go outside once last week- not good.... Movement is so vital for mental health and clarity, and of course their physical health. They have no interest in going outside with me... But with your kids, they're sold! Often when we are on the journey to make a change in our health and fitness, negative self-talk and being critical of ourselves is far too common. You know that little voice of doubt, that chatter that gets in the way? ... We are in the beginning weeks of my 100 Day Body Project Program. A large part of the success is in attaining our fitness goals. However, part of the limitation to attaining the goal, a LARGE part, is the way you perceive ourselves and speak negatively to journey and progress. Part of the conversation we are having inside the 100 day transformation is about supporting positive emotional health, and optimizing ourselves is also about self talk and how can we be more mindful with how we support and encourage our own progress. We use journaling and journaling prompts in week four of our journey to dive deeper into the mindset and limiting beliefs. They learn to be their biggest cheerleaders in fitness and in life. Ask yourself, ? journaling to help pattern our Self-talk is one of the most powerful things that can alter the trajectory of your day and your success as you go along you path to a goal. Moreover, poor mental health is a silent vicious monster that we all need to support and be generous with those who struggle with it, myself included. This is a little reframe off the conversation I posted the other day on deprivation being a mindset. We are going into week 2 of my program that is supporting people transform into their higher self through fitness. One of the things that I often notice with clients is that people take on transformation programs creating huge advancements with their fitness and their nutrition, But the mindset piece is where people get stuck. People see a transformation p...rogram as only a set time to level up, in a container or a vacuum -often getting stuck on feeling deprived, and limiting belief that this is not sustainable and that they are not able to enjoy all the things that many of us enjoy in times of relaxation, in times of indulgence. #myth What I propose to my clients is that we can adopt a new form of thinking, we can shift our thought patterning that we’ve always held onto. At the end of the day, this pattern is a limiting belief that we’ve adopted from past experiences. Stepping into a true transformation, sustainable and continuous way of levelling up your health, fitness and life is looking at how can you ask yourself +and question a limiting belief that you have, ones that often put boundaries on what is possible for ourselves, and shift to a new through that creates your highest self. Before I had kids, I prayed for a boy... then when I had my first born; a boy, I prayed for another boy. In my mind, boys were easier, boys gain success easier, boys have an easier journey in life. ... Being a first born female of a Japanese man, I was never strong enough, good enough, smart enough, capable enough. Then as an adult female, it became clear that the gender wage gap exists in plain sight, that women are assumed to be weaker, less smart, less strong, less capable. Then as life would have it... . Blessed because this little light has taught me strength, humility, kindness and resiliency, at only 6 years old. She has me that females are fierce, capable, relentless and can stand tall and strong despite gender biases. Beyond gender inequalities. I am so blessed to have a daughter to be my light of what is possible beyond what is thought possible. She is a beautiful lesson for my life, my teacher and guide to see my own power.
