This is why I come here often. While dropping in on my fave spot tonight, I witnessed some amazing compassionate acts from the management and staff of Canadian ...Brewhouse Eastgate. Here's the story... Sitting at the bar was a customer with special needs; I think he was also blind. The GM kept him company while guiding him through the menu. If ever the conversation fell silent, this customer would call out: "You still there?" He was . The night bartender helped him with his phone by charging the battery while assuring him that his choice of fries was the best one ever. Most impressive was when the bar assistant (Brighton) walked this customer to the washroom, arm in arm. This bar assistant (a service position known as "Ace") waited for him and then walked him back to his spot on the wood. I honestly shook my head in wonder at what I was seeing. All this left me wondering if this is normal restaurant service or, are these folks setting the bar high for great service. You decide next time you're here. Once again, well done Canadian Brewhouse Eastgate! Bravo!
