UPDATE ON MASSAGE AND PHYSIOTHERAPY We are now into our 4 th week of in- person PHYSIOTHERAPY services and we are happy to say things are going very smoothly. We do continue to offer Telehealth as well! This past week we were excited to welcome physiotherapist Erica Linde back to join Monique and Kim in the clinic.... Our massage therapist Nathan Ells will rejoin the fold with MASSAGE therapy services today June 29 th. We are thrilled to have him back ! We will continue to adhere to protocols to keep our staff and patients safe !

A successful first day filled with new cleaning/ sanitizing, handwashing and screening protocols. A new normal! We are now open for in-person services however we continue to offer and promote Telehealth for all disciplines ( exception massage) including psychology when appropriate. Over coming weeks we hope to continue to expand our rehabilitation services in a safe and graduated manner.... Thank you all for your patience and support Have a great weekend CBI STAFF

It is great to see how well everyone is progressing with their home routines.... Telehealth involves the use of telecommunications and virtual technology to deliver health care without having to visit a health care facility and is covered by most agencies. " 91percent of clients stated the online visit helped with their healthcare issue"... The current public health directives around social distancing and limited group sizes has accelerated our transition to delivering rehabilitation services through a virtual care model. What does that mean?? It means that our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals are able and willing to continue providing the care you need, over the phone or through secure video conferencing... PSYCHOLOGY continues to be available at CBI Kings and Berwick . We are ALSO accepting new referals. Please be advised that our therapists are working hard to develop our Telehealth care plan for physiotherapy and occupational therapy and these services will also be available in coming days.. Call the clinic for information or any questions. New referals will be welcomed

Any patients scheduled for in clinic/ in person appointments in Berwick and New Minas tomorrow will be cancelled given announcements today from the government. Please stay tuned for information on Telehealth options coming in the next few days. Stay safe !

CBI Kings is going to resume limited in clinic/ person services that require essential or urgent care in order to comply with government recomendations. We will be contacting you but feel free to reach out to us as well with any questions and to rebook ( with the exception of massage ). For other patients who are deemed appropriate we are moving to a virtual care model. More information will be available in coming days. Psychology services can continue in person or by phone/ ...telahealth. Please contact us with any questions. New referals are welcome. We will update this page regularly.

As a result of the Covid -19 virus and due to concerns for the health and well being of staff and the public we are temporarily suspending operations at our New Minas location only at this time. Merete Sommerlund is available by phone for her appointments. If you have an appointment scheduled and wish to attend by phone please call the clinic and leave a message. We are not discharging clients but simply placing them on hold while we review information and try to meet the ne...eds of our staff and clients as well as comply with government recommendations. We will be updating our page and status again on Friday and on regular intervals moving forward. Please stay tuned. We look forward to serving you again as soon as we feel it is prudent to resume services in New Minas. The health and safety of our patients as well as our staff is our main priority. Stay safe ! .
