Toronto-based photographer Dennis Benett’s winning photo features U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds opposing solo #5 flying an F-16C Fighting Falcon during the final performance of the 2019 Rochester International Airshow. As the Grand Prize winner, Benett has won $750, and his photo appears on the cover of the December 2020/January 2021 issue of Skies, which is now available to read online.
Donna and Suzy Garrett -- a mother/daughter duo -- both work as pilots for SkyWest Airlines. The image of the two sharing a flight deck captured a happy moment in aviation. However, it also symbolized a milestone on the tough journey faced by many women pilots -- one of the reasons the pair think their story resonated across the world.

KF Aerospace has received unanimous approval from Kelowna city council to build a 2-storey aircraft-shaped Aviation Museum & Conference Centre at the Kelowna International Airport - YLW, opening in 2022. We can't wait to visit !
