Sometimes madness seems like the only possible response to the insanity of the civilized world. Sometimes holding ourselves together is not an option, and the only way forward is to allow ourselves to fall apart. Sometimes anger and grief is a necessary precursor to transformation. Sometimes we need to let the wild woman rage, to grow feathers + fur and run wild through the woods. New moon New Beginnings. The mountains ground me into my body like nothing else. I am in love with this place all over again. My heart will always be in two places. I am calling in more adventure in nature, more of the things that remind me I'm alive. I feel suffocated by city , by all the energy and sounds, and busy. I am overwhelmed by too much, too fast, too many activities . I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount if humans in one place. I am calling in much more time in the vastness of mountain life, small town sweetness, walking everywhere and moments of softness .

Making sunset shapes with my love. I was at the beach with friends tonight to honor another life lost, but certainly lived to its fullest. @alex.girard194 was a man I had once had quite the crush on. We chatted a bit, and indeed wanted to connect but his adventures and my life simply didn't coordinate. I loved his wild zest for life and felt safe watching , and cheering him on from the sidelines. I learned he lost his life doing what he loves. Cheers to you Alex. You were one sexy bad ass adventurer.
