Tuesday, June 9: JK/SK, Grade 5/6 (9:30 - 10:15) and DD Class (10:30 - 12:00), Thursday, June 11: SK/1, Grade 2/3, 3/4, and GL class (9:30-10:15) Grade 6/7 and 8 (10:15 - 12:00). Good Afternoon CGW Families, This is Principal Innes. I am writing today to connect with our families in order to assure you all that we (the entire staff of CGW school) are working hard to support our students during this difficult time. Each of us care deeply for our students and we all miss seeing them everyday at school. The current health crisis that we are experiencing is having profound impacts on our daily lives, and we are all working together to make the best of ...this unfortunate situation. Our staff is currently easing into the next phase of learning at home, by connecting with families and setting up virtual learning experiences on the BrightSpace platform for those families who have access. We understand that not all of our students are able to access the learning opportunities provided online, and that several families have requested academic activities be sent by email or Canada Post. We should have all of these options up and running very soon. If you do have access to the Board Website, there are already many valuable resources available at https://www.granderie.ca/board/parentportal/parent-resources I will continue to keep our families updated regarding our next steps as soon as I have more information to share. Centennial-Grand Woodlands School is hiring... We require a part-time paid supervisor to help with nutrition break and recess supervision (80 minutes per school day- 11:00-11:40am and 1:20-2:00pm). Interested applicants are encouraged to contact the school office for more information.
