CCGS Captain Molly Kool returns to Davie’s National Icebreaker Centre After two years of distinguished service, a time lapse video captures the return of the CCGS Captain Molly Kool for essential maintenance at Davie Shipbuilding where she was originally converted. The ship is named after Captain Myrtle ‘Molly’ Kool, North America’s first female master mariner.

Le navire porte le nom du capitaine Myrtle "Molly" Kool, la première femme capitaine de navire en Amérique du Nord.

Exciting things are happening during the 2nd half of #OpNANOOK 2020! HMCS Ville De Québec, MV Asterix, HMCS Glace Bay, HDMS Triton, USCGC Tahoma, and USS Thomas... Hudner spent the weekend conducting joint operations, including helicopter and boarding exercises. The ships are now transiting towards the Arctic Circle, where they will participate in the traditional Crossing the Line ceremony.
