The CATT Fund Volleyball Tournament was unable to happen this year, however, the Mt. Cheam Rotary Club canvassed the community do support despite not being able to have this fun event in person! We would like to shout out several of our sponsors who contributed to the cause! Due to your sponsorship, over $20,000 is going towards making Christmas brighter for many families in Chilliwack. This year, to raise awareness about Chilliwack Community Services' end-of-year giving campaign (I Care) we wanted to give back to the community. We visited 14 schools in Chilliwack to provide a hot dog lunch to every student and staff provided by Lil Joe's Corner Kick Concessions Food Truck. Each school was sponsored by a local business or individual community member where a portion of the proceeds went towards CCS' I Care Campaign. We are happy to announce, thanks to our spo...nsors, we have been able to feed over 3,660 children and youth in Chilliwack (over 4,000 people including teachers)! It has been a smashing success and a wonderful way to bring some joy with some sweet tunes and juice provided by 89.5 The Drive, and to see some of our community in a COVID friendly fashion!
