Thanks to all the diving community volunteers for working with China Creek Campground's "Mother Ship" the Port Alberni Port Authority to install its donated dive marker buoy. The artificial reef can now be more safely enjoyed!

Congrats to everyone with a big Socially-Distant "Air High 5" who's enjoying this surprising little spell of the real west coast camping experience! We were long over due for a "little" rain. Everything just smells and feels so fresh now (aside from a few pairs of some socks but no judging here!). The sun is supposed to return soon!

We are so incredibly thankful for all of our guests who have come in physically-distant and respectful droves this summer once we were able to open with the required COVID-19 Safe Protocols in place in June. For those interested in staying with us the rest of this month through Labour Day (and, why wouldn't anyone be?!) we have good availability for mid-week stays (Tuesdays-Thursdays). In fact, why not escape your home-offices during the week when things are a little less busy in the campground, on the water and in town? Don't worry - we won't tell your boss And, for those looking to extend summer into our typically still-great Alberni Valley weather - we have a good selection of sites for all days in September after Labour Day weekend
