PROTECT YOURSELF ON YOUR NEXT AIRPLANE TRIP: We all knew how dirty airplanes environment could be, but watch this video before your next flight. Wiping surfaces with regular wipes will not remove bacteria, molds, fungus, E-coli, viruses, and other microorganisms. - Use anti-microbial swabs or 70% alcohol or a mixture of 1:20 chlorine to water ratio to disinfect all surfaces, including seatbelts, tablets, armrests, menus, magazines (or sanitize your hands and fingers after to...uching those objects). Kids touching E-Coli traces on trays and seatbelts then their mouth could experience diarrhea. - Avoid putting your personal belongings in the chair pocket. - Use the paper towel to turn off your faucet and touch door lock and knobs when exiting the washroom. - Put a towel over your head rest to avoid picking up skin diseases and even lice. - Buy bottle water. BASIC RISK MANAGEMENT STEPS TO PROTECT OURSELVES FROM PICKING UP HARMFUL GERMS AND VIRUSES, since we cannot possibly remember what we touched outside of our home (objects and food, anywhere): 1. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, ears and mouth unless you have just washed or sanitized your hands and fingers. 2. Always carry a liquid or swab sanitizer in your pocket or purse, and clean your hands and fingers often. Where available, thoroughly clean your hands with soap for ...30 seconds. Alternately, you can use alcohol, white vinegar, very salty sea salt water to clean your hands before touching your face, your body and your food. 3. Always have a pair of gloves or a plastic bag to use as glove to touch and pickup filthy stuff when and where you cannot sanitize your hands. 4. Always carry a mask and use it in crowded or condensed areas (I used to catch a cold or flu once a month when I had to take the crowded Go Train daily to go to work, where people frequently coughed, sneezed, and cleared their throat). 5. Do not walk bare feet outside of your home. Always bring a pair of sleepers or socks to wear on public grounds like at the airport security, at the gym, pool and yoga places. Remember that an open wound without blood (like dry and cracked skin) is sufficient to transmit bacteria, viruses and illnesses from one person to another. 6. Avoid hot yoga, public saunas, where physical-born and air-born germs could multiply uncontrollably due to heat. 7. Wash your glasses and plates in hotel rooms before use since it is common practice that they use the same dry cloth to dry the counters, toilet seats and glasses. 8. Think of potential cross contamination in public service areas like hotels, restaurants, office buildings, cruises, where employees might use the same clothes to wipe dry everything, dragging germs and viruses from object to object and from one room to another room. 9. Eat out less as you cannot possibly wash your utensils, plates and glasses in a restaurant. Remember that raw food like greens, fruits, bread, wraps could be manipulated by hands and utensils that were not sanitized and could be cross-contaminated. 10. Pay attention to everything you touch (money, door knobs, faucets, light switches, public/hotel phone, remote controls, POS machines where you punched in your credit cards and code and sign with your fingers, pens, shopping carts, menus, magazines, playing cards, chips, food packages, vegetables, fruits, counters, etc.). If you have a habit of touching your face, eye, nose, mouth, ear, use your palm instead of your fingers to touch door knobs, locks, light switches, etc. This will reduce the risk in case you cannot wash your hands frequently. 11. Wash and cook your food and veggies well as heat may kill the virus. Good information. Note in the article that it took 12 to 15 min of scrubbing baking soda water to remove chemical residues. Thats a lot of time and scrubbing to do. I peel all my veggies where I can. What was not mentioned here is that prewashed veggies are even more toxic as they were soaked in preservatives water, an added layer of chemicals, before packaging. My young patients were often allergic to prewashed and packaged baby carrots and cherry tomatoes, but not to pee...led carrots and tomatoes. Dont put prewashed legumes in your childrens lunch boxes. Also remember that commercial organic produce is not the pure organic produce you grow at home. They have to use organic pesticides and the bacteria called Bacillus-Thurengiensis which produce protein fatal to insects. Furthermore, homegrown produce are ugly in shape and look, not equally round and shiny. Use your common sense. HOW TO SLEEP ON YOUR BACK COMFORTABLY: This is the correct sleep posture for adults, children and babies to maintain the symmetrical aspect of the body to avoid numerous dysfunctions. Sophie, 15 months, was sleeping on her back, perfectly aligned and parallel to the bed, using our newly created baby pillow. Ive been advising all my female clients to loosen up their bras around the ribs and shoulders to release and avoid respiratory problems, shoulders and neck pain, headaches, breast and ribs pain, growth of tumours and skin diseases, heartburn, bloating and other digestive issues. I also advised all clients not to wear tight underwear, socks, pants and accessories. Tight underwear and tight pants in men (together with dehydration and excessive physical activities ) could cause the blockage of nerves that feed the prostate and testicles.
