It was an unseasonably cold, but sunny weekend in Vancouver. We hope you, friends and family had a chance to enjoy the outdoors, a fall bike ride, and maybe even a visit to one of our pop-up plazas! If you did, we’d love to hear your feedback, surveys on our public space initiatives will close at the end of this week. Community Safety Partnership Program (http://ow.ly/6X9850BzmsU), which is geared towards preventing tragic railway incidents. This week is Rail Safety Week in Canada and we are focused on raising public awareness on how to safely navigate through Look. Listen. Live. safety decals at crossings within our community. Safety is our number one priority and we are committed to continue working with Operation Lifesaver and our partners to enhance safety at railway crossings in the city. The Look. Listen. Live. safety decals provide a visual reminder to road users to stay alert when crossing the tracks by looking and listening for oncoming trains.
