With Back-To-School challenges comes a few questions for when to stay home and when to participate in recreational activities, such as riding your horse or attending lessons! Here are a few policies we would like to highlight for following COVID-19 procedures. 1) If you’re sick, stay home. Get a swab done, and once it comes back negative and your symptoms have improved you can come back to the barn. 2) If you have household members who are sick, but you are not sick - self ...monitor. Consider wearing a mask and ramping up your hand hygiene. If you get any symptoms, refer to point #1. 3) If you can’t attend school, you can’t attend lessons. We are trying to follow the same path as everyone else, so hopefully it minimizes confusion. 4) If you’re concerned, just mask up! If you’re confused, send me a text or give me a call! 5) Spray your work space after your lessons. 6) Do not share any equipment. Put a mask on if you can’t social distance.
Freedom Horse Transport made an emergency layover at the barn. Travel was terrible that day, and the horses safety is always #1. We were happy to help Jody, and the two cuties she had aboard. And through it all, they were stress free and happy travellers. She takes great care of her cargo! Check out Freedom Horse Transport for trips across the provinces!
Streets and roads are not great. Please drive carefully if you are going to the barn today. Visibility is decreased as well! The snow is still coming down, and while Coleman has cleared the yard again, it may be a challenge for some vehicles out here!
Know the laws before your visit Entry to horse owners, lessees, staff and students (at their scheduled lesson time) only. There are no visitors allowed at this time.
Henk lessons the weekend of the 28/29 to anyone wanting. We have 6 spots available!
Roads are open! Ponies are good
A friend is selling her super sweet gelding. He was out on trial already, and handled it like a champ! Sadly, due to no fault of his, the sale fell through and he’s back on the market. Check him out! https://horse-canada.com/classifieds/show-ad/?id=107261
Its PC Saturday! The barn is closed to non-pc members from 10-12:30. Pony club kids need their WINTER GEAR! We are working outside a lot today. Horse Masters need their lunging gear.
