Delivering meals has been a challenge this week but I managed to stay warm and keep our clients safe. Foggy glasses and face shields make for tough driving.

Marianne and Shelley would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Things were different this year that's for sure. No annual tea, Club Day Away canceled but we are all safe. We've got the hand sanitizer and PPE ready. See you in 2021.

Many thanks to Dave Robertson for changing a flat tire in a snow storm for me. Thanks to the hospital kitchen staff for keeping the Meals on Wheels meals hot. Thank you also to Fountain Tire Red Lake for the speedy fix of the tire and for putting it back on. Note to Dodge Caravan owners the spare tire is up front between the driver and passenger seat. You may want to check your owner's manual to see how it works. That was a fun evening of delivering meals.

Best cribbage player, puzzle solver and trivia player. Longest Club Day Away participant. So many memories. Sandra you will be missed. Rest in peace.

While I am out delivering Meals on Wheels I have come across someone who sometimes struggles with the TV. It is a Bell dish and I wonder if someone could give me some easy tips on how to get the channels back. I managed to push some buttons on the remote, got the guide working but have no idea what I did. If you know someone who could help me so I can explain it in simple terms that would be awesome.

Congratulations to all 2020 RLDHS graduates. Community Support Services was happy to offer community involvement hours to many students. This past year we had students assist with set up and take down of our annual tea, delivering and serving meals. Thank you and good luck on your next journey.

Well we didnt get a new picture of him but a very happy 96th birthday to Frank Ostojski. Aka popcorn Frank. Still going strong.

Here is the update from Community Support. The following programs are currently suspended Club Day Away, Congregate Dining and Home Help light house keeping. Meals on Wheels are still being delivered with full screening of all clients and delivery personnel. Please please if you are coming back from holidays do not come in contact with your older family member. Pick up the phone and talk to them. Should you have family members who are in need of our services please call the cell phone 727-0141. Thank you everyone.
