Before you get your roof shingles replaced i recommend taking photos of your eavestroughs. Damage can be caused by the roofing company and then you have proof so you are not stuck with the cost to replace. Shingles on this roof were replaced 2 months before the inspection at a elderly persons place. She was shocked.

Metal roof installed in 2017. They got a littler crooked so i guess they figured to cover the gaps is smash the ridge cap with a hammer to spread out the metal. Guess they also didn't have enough material to finish the cap. The opening also was not cut into the ridge along with insulation covering the soffit vents so now they have lots of fungus growing in the attic.

This is the exhaust vent for a hot water heater. Not attached which would let carbon monoxide into the home. No carbon monoxide detector in or near utility room. Many people do not know, but this is required, not just near sleeping areas. I couldn't leave it like that so i fixed it.
