We have had people asking about this buckskin Foal of Nutty’s. It is with a heavy heart we regret to share with you she lost this foal last week. This is the heartbreaking part of breeding any animal and we always search for reasons why. The vet mentioned there were three other abortions last week And ventured to think a possible cause could have been the extreme weather change from minus 40 upwards to above freezing in a day or two. This is stressful on animals that live outside.. the cold they can handle but the extreme swing in temperament COULD be a reason. She carried him nearly full term and he was a big healthy buckskin boy.

As I’ve been taking the boys to a friends arena a few people came and went with their horses and couldn’t believe they were 2 and 3 year old stallions! Finn and Pete have been together for a week and are just the best buds. Even with a mare around.. not a peep. The second picture is a mares butt, they notice her but not a sound..
