#ThankfulThursday On this special Christmas Eve Thursday, we are thankful for a special volunteer, Winnie. After 30 years of volunteering her time driving, Winnie has decided to retire from transportation; thankfully we will still get to see her when she helps us deliver our meals! We are forever grateful for all of the years you gave us and your dedication to supporting our clients! You will be missed!

Our friends at the Thousand Islands Quilters Guild have done it again!! This time donating over 100 quilted placemats! what an amazing addition to everyone’s table! Thank you so much for all of the time and effort you put into making these; they will bring a smile to so many faces!

This year has really thrown a curve ball at us. However, we’ve made it through every lockdown because of the support from the local community. #ThankfulThursday This week we are thankful for our volunteer Al Newson! Al came on board with us in May and has been an incredible help ever since! He helps us get our frozen meals and our covid bags out to the Cardinal/Spencerville area and helps us with transportation! Al is always eager to support and always brings his smile and great sense of humour along with him! Thank you for all you do Al!

Update: The Brockville Assessment Centre is transitioning to an online appointment booking system. It may take some time to get the appointment system running. ...In the meantime, individuals that meet the new COVID-19 Testing Eligibility Criteria (those with symptoms and close contacts of positive cases as informed by public health or the COVID Alert app) can selfpresent to the centre between operating hours to confirm eligibility for testing and to receive an appointment time. At this point there is no need to call ahead and we anticipate that individuals will be provided a time to come back that same day. Hours of Operation: Monday Friday 10:00 am 5:30 pm Saturday Sunday 10:00 am 2:30 pm

Our main priority is to ensure that our clients are safe when participating in our program, and these sneeze guards are an additional precaution we have implemented in effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. Our staff also diligently sanitizes our bikes after each tour and provides masks for all participants of Travelling Trishaw Tours. See more
