Thank you to all the sewers out there sewing PPE!!!! Maybe someone up there will realize how important the sewing world is and bring it back into schools and s...upport Canadian manufacturing!! Were thinking you have a lot of scraps left over from all that making. We would like to make a charity quilt out of all your scraps. Cut them into 2 1/2" strips. Join them end to end to create a loooong piece. Roll it up, drop it off at The Sewing Cafe, between 1-4pm, Monday to Friday. Another option, is if we get enough response, we could drive around on a specific day and do porch pickup. When we have enough, we will sew them together into a quilt, quilt it and either donate it or auction off and donate the monies. See more
