Today we'd like to introduce you to another of our suppliers over at the General Store, Idle & Wood Candle Co., and their beautiful hand-poured soy candles inspired by nature and clean living. Rachel and Amanda are the owners and creators of @idleandwood they're best friends who are passionate about creating natural candles. When they both became moms in 2019, they began to be more conscious of the environment in their homes. After learning more about the candles they were ...burning at home, they realized how toxic some candles could be. They didn't want their families breathing in any unnecessary harmful toxins, so they decided to make their own candles using plant-based natural ingredients and phthalate-free fragrances. Their vision of making their natural candles for themselves turned into a candle business, and it's been non-stop ever since! Gooood afternoon, neighbours! We have fantastic news; we are expanding our restaurant hours! Indoor dining hours are now Monday - Wednesday 4-9 pm and Thursday - Sunday 12-9 pm starting today! With a maximum of 10 people allowed in the dining room at any given time. General Store hours will remain the same (8 am 8 pm daily), with a 10-person capacity.
