Back to Italy pictures. This time we are at the Forum in Rome!

My initial thought on Monday morning was regret that I didn't stay out long enough to get the peak of the aurora. Now I realize, that I was able to get out and enjoy the night sky. And really isn't that what I should be grateful for?

Renae and I went out to see if we could catch any of the Perseid meteor shower. We didn't see any meteors but I was surprised to see a little bit of aurora activity. I found out this morning that the peak was about 3 hours after I took this but I am still happy I got out last night.
