Every day life gives us reminders of how lucky we are. Measuring a home that had undergone significant fire damage, like seen in the photo below, was my reminder today. It brought into prospective how lucky I am to have a roof over my head, clean water, food and an amazing family. It also made me think of the fires burning across our province and how many homes now look like this one and the homes that have been completely destroyed. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their homes in the devastating forest fires. **not actual photo of home I measured to keep the privacy of the home owner**
