Alberta Health Services has partnered with Togetherall to provide a safe, online, community peer to peer connections system to access mental health support, assistance and resources in a manner that is totally anonymous. Anyone 16 years of age or older, that is feeling stress and anxiety is able to access the Togetherall community 24/7 by phone, computer, or tablet free of charge. Bridges Family Programs is the family resource network Hub for Medicine Hat, Cypress County, and the Oyen region. What does this mean? Anyone with children 0-18 is eligible for free services, including our Navigators who are trained family support specialists and can provide information & referrals. It is with great sadness we remember Art Squire, Councillor for Ward 1 from 2013-17, who passed away Friday, February 5th. Condolences to his family and friends, he will be missed.
At the February 2nd Council meeting, Council made a motion to send a letter to Premier Kenney regarding reopening Alberta's economy. This letter was sent on Friday.

Fire permits will not be reviewed or issued from December 23 to January 3, due to limited staff availability. To ensure your request is reviewed prior these dates please submit by Noon on Tuesday December 22.
The tax payment deadline is November 30, as of December 1st the penalty for non payment is 7.5% as per Bylaw 2020/13. There are multiple options for payment including: - Online banking - Through the County website www.cypress.ab.ca - At the County office via cash, cheque, or credit card (fees apply) - Mail in a cheque (must be postmarked November 30th or prior to be considered on time)
This month alongside Remembrance Day we wish to honour those who have served or are currently serving for their country. Submit a photo to [email protected] of you or someone in your family in their service uniform, at the end of the month we will create a collage of the photos sent in that will be displayed each November at the Cypress County office and online. We will give away two gift cards at the end of the month picked at random from the submissions. (By entering the giveaway, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by Cypress County to create a Remembrance collage. Winner must be able to collect prize from Dunmore, Alberta.
