With an ancient recipe pulled from the ancestral Coli family library, we bring you Dagerlaager, a definitely traditional and obviously venerable lager with a long history behind it. Just uh, don't go looking for records. The first sip of Dagerlaager flows over you with brisk pepper and herbal notes, followed by a robust-yet-clean undercurrent of heady bready pilsner malt. And with a tidy finish, each dram encourages the next. A bright lager for not-so-bright days, such is the way in the Pacific Northwest. Dagerlaager is available beginning today in the Tasting Room and is also available for curbside and Province-wide delivery at webstore.dageraadbrewing.com. You will shortly begin seeing it on store shelves when it rolls out next week.

Dagerlaager is Back The days are getting lighter, and we've brewed a beer to match. The crispiest of bois is returning - Dagerlaager arrives Thursday. Clean, bright, and peppery with a bready malt base, the beer we never though we'd make got itself made once again. We brewed it last year because we had unused tank space. We brewed it this year because we liked it so damn much. It seems a few of you did too. Catch Dagerlaager Thursday when it drops in the Tasting Room, or next week when it starts rolling out to store shelves. It will also be ready to order online Wednesday afternoon for launch day deliveries.

It's not quite the golden hour, but we're feeling the sunshine vibes on the last canning run before the weekend. All these fresh Burnabarians are waiting for a good home, so swing by this weekend for a pick-me-up. How Bizarre, how bizarre. Our new mixed culture saison, Bizarre Celebrations, debuts at the brewery today! Like any good party, this beer has plenty on offer. Tropical passionfruit and guava pair with herbaceous hops and there's just enough tartness to keep the party tidy and easy-drinking. It’s light without being thin, flavourful without coming on strong. It’s the ideal party - no clean up, no lines, and the DJ isn’t taking requests. This beer is also a special one for us: ...brewery hero Bree played a big role in building the recipe. She worked tirelessly to develop the nuanced flavors in this beer and then under her direction we threw it all out the window and changed gears for the betterment of the beverage. You’ll be able to find bottles and draught of Bizarre Celebrations today at the brewery, and online via our webstore. It will hit shelves beginning next week. This is a smaller batch and won’t be around forever - don’t miss out.

New this Thursday - Inge Like so many wool socks and weighted blankets, our new multigrain witbier Inge is a bottle of comfy conviviality for damp winter evenings on the west coast. Wrap yourself in golden coziness as barley, buckwheat, rye and oats build a creamy body underneath a nose of warm chamomile and lemon peel. Lively, refined and with a delicate sweetness, we've called Inge 'winterstrength' - perfect for this new age of winter patios.... Inge will arrive in the Tasting Room and webstore on Thursday, Nov 19. It debuts at retailers the following week.

The comfort of a handknit toque, the refreshment of a Whistler breeze - Velour Toboggan is ready for you. Push off from the hill and speed into the warming flavours of a toasty, malty base before a sneaky bump of bright blackberries launches you skyward. Crash landing on a toboggan is a rite of passage in Canada, and this beer brings you the same thrill with decidedly less posterior bruising. Velour Toboggan is available today in the Tasting Room and online for delivery orders. It will start rolling out to your local craft beer shops next week.

The time has come, 2021 is on the horizon, and we've earned a celebration of sorts. Anno 2020 releases in the Tasting Room this Thursday. January 1st won't magically change *everything*, and a beer certainly won't help either, but it will be there with us when we raise a glass to resilience and determination we found inside ourselves. Anno 2020 is a strong golden ale brewed with Okanagan pears and bottle conditioned with brettanomyces. It's a layered, fruity and funky beer, ...ideal for cellaring and enjoying further complexity as the brett slowly develops over time. Find Anno by the glass and bottle at the brewery and online store beginning November 26. It will start appearing on store shelves the following week.

Some unfortunate news - due to a mechanical issue, we will be pushing back the release of Velour Toboggan. The beer will release tomorrow instead. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but have no fear, we'll all get a toboggan ride soon!

Cold beer, warm patio! Just in time for the weekend, we've got new heaters installed over our patio tables. Our strange new world is getting stranger by the day, but if one of those peculiarities is a toasty patio in November, hey we'll take it.
