She is expecting to hatch a few chicks this Sunday. The other eggs, we are looking at June 12 and 13. What are your favourite chicken books?

Lynda library offers so much to library patrons!

Good morning! The Friends of the Library have been taking about a garden club. Since things like this have to wait for a bit, we can still chat about gardens this way and help new gardeners connect with experienced ones. So many people are starting gardens this year and could benefit from asking questions. I feel like all the garden stuff is very slow this year. Feel free to post questions and answers in the comments. Pictures are also welcome!

The DeBolt Public Library has great news!! Starting on Monday, we will be offering curbside services!! You may place holds in trac for our books that are in the library. You may also call the library with book requests. Please call the library for an appointment to pick up your books, or text 780-518-9451. Your books will be placed in a plastic bag and will be handed to you through the library window. Please place all returns in the library book drop. Have a wonderful weekend and see you on Monday!

A few updates from the library. The due dates for any library items currently checked out (excluding eBooks and eAudiobooks) have been extended to July 31, 2020.... Any holds placed on items before May 1st will be held until July 31, 2020. All patrons set to expire between now and the end of July have had their memberships renewed until July 31, 2020. Hey kids, do you remember the book you made with Lorrie Rempel and Linda Schofield? Well now is a great time to start another one! If you have extra time at home, write your story and draw your pictures. Lorrie has graciously offered to come and help assemble your books once we can host events again. There will be a modest fee to cover the supplies needed to make your book. If you have any questions, please call the library and I will do my best to help you. I’m truly looking forward to seeing all of you and your stories in the future!
