This weather has been unbelievable! I really love fall. Everything it has to offer. I especially love family photo sessions in the woods. I adorable this photo for so many reasons. And not just because these are some of my adorable nieces and nephews, but because this blended family represents the beauty of change. Enjoy this weekend, though it might not be your traditional family gathering, make the best of it.

Kicking off the summer and Father's Day weekend with these two, expecting their first baby soon! Congratulations Kathryn McGill & Jason Wight!

Introducing Danielle! She’s the last newborn session I booked at the end of January. With COVID-19 and all the uncertainty around it, I was thinking about how much has changed since the beginning of 2020 and how within an instant we have been forced to adapt to new work situations, and continue on with life isolated from our loved ones and friends. Photographers celebrate and share in their clients' most precious moments. And though I never wanted to practice my art full tim...e, I've always been quite happy indulging in my creative side when the opportunity presents itself, and usually that’s because someone refers me to a family member, coworker, or friend in need. I am a photographer who prides myself on my good work and reliability. Right now I have a void and a little fear about what the future holds for me realizing that I am more of a socialite than I realized. Whatever the future brings, I am thinking of all of those who can’t book their new-born sessions or have that wedding they’ve always dreamed of. We will get through this. And when we do, I’ll be there capturing your beautiful smiles surrounded once again by your family and friends. Stay safe.

So I have no idea what happened this year-I literally blinked and the fall came and went. Here is a sneak peak of my annual Lye Family Session. We explored downtown Unionville this time. I apologize to anyone I did not book with. I only have a limited availability. My weekends are filled with mom responsibilities right now. I look forward to 2020!

This what 60 years of marriage brings...

I am currently deep in wedding editing. But I wanted to reflect on my weekend! I was thinking of how I have built my part time photography business on mainly my... closest and longest friendships. I have known Paul Lindsay since I was 17. It's an honour to photograph his family 21 years later. See more

I am always thrilled to visit Fields on West Lake in Wellington, ON. I grew up in the country on 100 acre dairy farm. Though this beautiful piece of farm land is now a wedding destination, it reminds me of my childhood and of life when it was a little more peaceful. Congratulations Ian and Josie!
