With any significant disruption, water, power or otherwise think of your neighbour. Do they need some help? Are they getting by during this unexpected outage? May be worth a check-in with them. #community

Thanks Bracebridge Examiner and Mary Beth Hartill for your interest in our Town’s transit. Having a chance to connect with the bus patrons re-enforced the importance of what a reliable public transit alternative means to our community. Mobility = Opportunity.

District of Muskoka looking for affordable housing partnerships....

A timely report on this National Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The Centre for Future Work reports that a cross-Canada universal child-care system would generate up to $29 billion in annual government revenues and easily pay for itself. It would further increase the participation of women in the labour force, adding more than $100 billion to Canada’s GDP. The report went further to suggest that building an affordable, national child-care program is Canada’s best path toward a post-pandemic economic recovery. #OrangeTheWorld https://centreforfuturework.ca//child-care-expansion-woul/
