Between multiple homes to stage I finally had a chance to take some photos of my painted kitchen. I haven't had the time or patience to stencil the backsplash but will post when I get it done. Loving the addition of my new to me antique door.

Happy New Year! My resolution was to paint my kitchen cupboards and no better time than during a lockdown. Since they are 24 years old but still in good shape, I am excited for a change. Here it goes...

It's been awhile since I've painted furniture but couldn't resist a new technique on this table and chairs.

I had a great little helper yesterday to makeover her new room, a few polka dots when the straight painting got tedious but in the end it turned out pretty neat!

Painting over paneling updated this cute bungalow that I staged last week.

Another project for this lovely couple. After completing the hall, they decided to make two small bedrooms into one master along with an ensuite.

A little something to brighten your day. My daughter and I tried some pour painting to bring some spring into our home. An easy and affordable way to do your own artwork. Lots of ideas on pinterest.

Another project for this great couple, a small room off their kitchen converted to a spacious pantry and office. It offers so much storage and the wooden countertops add a touch of warmth to the white cupboards.

A design project that was completed 2 days before Christmas for a wonderful couple and their children. They were such a pleasure to work with and I hope their family room is a place where happy memories are made!

A fresh look for the hall in the upstairs of this beautiful farmhouse. With ceiling, trim and doors painted, wallpaper in a soft blue and pewter and tin light fixture this small space comes to life again.

A quick trip to Urban Barn for their Organic and Bohemian Home Decor Spring session last night. Lots of great ideas for mixing colour and texture.

A little update for your hunter green countertops (I had the same ones) without spending a lot of money.

I've always loved lots of colour but lately I have painted more rooms white than ever before, including a couple in my own home. Love how it brings new life to a room and lets the accessories take the stage.

Merry Christmas from our house to yours

This fun project started with the addition of beautiful, antique furniture and sentimental pieces to incorporate into the family room. I began by whitewashing the pine walls, painting the window frames, baseboards, doors and shelving in white, as well as black on the patio doors, coffee table and shelving unit to add drama to the room. The room is ready in time for this wonderful family to decorate and enjoy during the Christmas season!
