At 830am today Schuler fire was dispatched to a home in the hamlet of Schuler due to a carbon monoxide alarm. On arrival all occupants were evacuated from the home. This was not a false alarm. The home owners water tank was not working properly and was filling house with carbon monoxide. This shows how important working carbon monoxide detectors are. This can happen to anybody! Please make sure you have working carbon monoxide and fire alarms and replace the batteries regularly.

Box Springs Fire along with Redcliff Fire, the RCMP, and many others, took part in a birthday parade yesterday for a very happy little boy!

On average Cypress County Fire Department responded to 5 incidents per week in 2020.

Cypress County and area is under a winter storm watch. The weather forecast is calling for rain mixed with snow as well as a drop in temperature. Road conditions can deteriorate very quickly. Please give yourself lots of extra time if you must travel. Please be safe this weekend!
