Please Read I have had to make a few changes to my policies and will continue with my Covid protocols for the foreseeable future. Please return for your dog at the time that is given, I have a lot of cleaning to do, am very busy and can not kennel dogs due to my Covid-19 protocols. Because there is an increase in late pick ups, a $15 additional charge will apply if your dog is not picked up within 30 minutes of the time given to return and the $15 fee will continue for e...ach additional half hour. I will be continuing meeting people outside the store in the parking lot for the foreseeable future. Please be patient, I will come out at your appointment time, there is a lot of added cleaning to do right now and I cannot take dogs earlier because of this. Please exit your vehicle and take your dog to use the bathroom to the right of the building (not the flower bed) before I come out. Also, if you return to your car, please give me a wave so I know where you are so I don’t need to walk the parking lot trying to find you. Make sure before arrival that your dogs collar/harness is fitted properly. * As of right now I am still very back logged and am only able to sneak in my regular nail trim clients who’s dogs do not require two people (because of social distancing). I know this is an inconvience to people, but I am doing the best I can right now. Please do not take your dog to the beach right before your appointment. The wet, sand filled hair is terrible for my equipment and I can not begin the grooming with a wet dog, I would need to dry the dog, which adds additional time to the groom that I am not aware of. Additional charges may apply because of added sharpening fees to my equipment. If you, or someone you were in contact with is showing signs of Covid-19 please contact me to reschedule your appointment. I am an asthmatic and this needs to be taken seriously. Before I knew it, June 21 sneaked by and I had to remind myself that this is year 4 for Dog Gone Beautiful!! This year has certainly been different for sure, with Becky pursing her dream to open up her own grooming shop located inside of her home, and with the Covid 19 pandemic, my new normal is a little bit quieter then it usual is I want to thank my amazing clients and to Becky D’s team at Sunnybrook from the bottom of my heart, you all have been cheering us on the entire... time and we wouldn’t have made it this far without your support, kindness, laughs, and of course, your amazing dogs. I am so fortunate to work in such an amazing environment surrounded by such amazing, supportive, encouraging, loving, and fun people! I want to wish my Becky the biggest well wishes on her new shop named, Ruff Life Grooming. Without your teamwork we wouldn’t have been able to create this little business and I am so fortunate that you have taught me everything I know and for all our fun that we had along the way! Not everyone is fortunate enough to work with a best friend, and I will cherish every memory I am so proud of this little shop and can not say thank you enough to the people that have helped along the way the last four years! Hello everyone, I am so very pleased to say that I will be heading back to work tomorrow! Please read the following notes to all of my valued clients Please be kind to one another during this time while we all get used to this new normal. If you have travelled outside of the province, country, or have been living with a person who is in self quarantine, please please please let me know so that I can reschedule your appointment to a later date. ... Please wait in your car for me to come out and retrieve your dog from you. Once I’m finished I will return your dog to you in the parking lot and will also be taking my debit machine out with me. Nail trimming on Tuesdays nights and coat blow outs will not be scheduled until phase 3 until I get used to this new normal. All pre booked appointments for 2020/2021 are still valid and have not changed. If you did not have an appointment during this time or one pre booked and are looking for one, the waiting list is very long, please be patient, I am doing the best that I can. A slight price adjustment will be made to some longer haired puppy cuts and to larger dogs in August 2020. This adjustment will be made because of the extra time, supplies and stress on my body. I am so happy to talk to people today! I have started to rebook grooming clients that I have had to cancel during our Covid 19 shut down. Please be patient, I have a lot of phone calls to make and schedules to move around, but if you bare with me I will be contacting you soon! Can’t wait to head back to work on May 22!! I will be updating people of my Covid 19 protocol when I call to reschedule your appointments. Nails trim Tuesdays: as of right now I will not be doing my u...sual nail trim Tuesday night until Phase 3 is allowed to go forward the week of June 12. I am an immune compromised person and at this point I don’t feel confident that I can follow Covid 19 protocols properly during a nail trim because of social distancing and the amount of disinfecting that follows. This could all change so please keep an eye on my Facebook change for updates and I will be keeping a list of people to contact once I am able to trim nails. Please be patient, we are all in the same boat and trying to adapt to new things as best we can. I will be asking people to please wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time, I will then run out and snag your dog from you. May 4th update: It has been very heart warming to see everyone so excited for the reopening of Dog Gone Beautiful on May 22 during phase 2 and I’d like to thank everyone for that I just wanted to remind clients that I will not be rescheduling cancelled appointments until we are closer to the May 22 date incase things change with phase 2. I will be keeping all grooming appointments that have been made for the rest of the year valid to try and keep things in order and will b...e contacting people throughout the weeks for reminders and explanations of Covid protocols that will be put into place. I will keep this page updated as the weeks go on. Unfortunately, since I have had to cancel approximately 180 grooming appointments, I will not be able to make new appointments until I am caught up and I can not take on new grooming clients at this time. I have a list of cancellations in order since March 18 and will be working down that list to try and catch up as quickly as I’m able without exhausting myself. Please be patient, this pandemic has been hard on everyone and we all need to be kind to one another to move forward safely Thank you, can’t wait to see everyone! Megan
