Although this special day of the year is almost over I just had to post this picture and wish everyone a "Happy Valentine's Day". In our block we have this traffic circle that someone decorates on special occasions. I managed to get a picture of this on the way home from work tonight. Enjoy!

Every day we hear the need to increase our fruit and vegetable intake. Our fruit and veggies just don’t have the nutrients they had when our mom and dad were growing them in the garden or picking them up at the store. In a day’s worth of Ageless Essentials you would need to buy and eat this much organic food to get the same nutrients.

During the flu season you need to work on reducing your intake of foods that can weaken your immune system. One of the major culprits is sugar, especially refined, white and brown or cane sugar. So try to stay away from those extra cookies and candies and don’t forget to check out your granola bars, there actually processed foods, loaded with fat and sugar. Try to avoid dairy foods, or food containing milk, cream or butter (ghee is okay). These may not actually weaken your immune system, but when eating them these foods can create congestion by generating lots of mucus and make it harder to get over a cold. Hope you have managed to keep these cold and flu bugs away this year because it have been a tough one to avoid.
