Our Halloween treat this year was 2 extractions, an immediate #blximplant & a socket preservation! Our implant was placed with a custom healing abutment using a temporary abutment. We harvested tissue from the palette and tucked it in front of the implant. Straumann offers a line of BLT implants that come with a 2.9mm diameter (small CrossFit connection) indicated for narrow spaces where conventional size implants would not suffice. This small diameter implant can offer a good prosthetic outcome all the while working with the space presented in the mouth.
