How do you reduce inflammation in your body? It took me a while to understand truely how much food impacts our health, and especially the inflammation in our bodies. Since reducing inflammatory foods, and focusing on anti-inflammatory foods, I have noticed reduction in my thyroid antibodies, improved mood, more energy and better digestion. I have seen the same in countless patients. Some of my favorite anti-inflammatory super foods are: fish oils, ginger, avocado oil and dark leafy veggies. Interestingly enough, foods like eggplants and peppers, although delicious, can increase inflammation for some individuals. If you are looking for other tips and tricks to reduce the amount of inflammation in your body check out my blogs at emilylipinski.com :) #hypothyroid #naturalhealing #wellness #thyroid

Selenium is a mineral found in the soil, and is naturally occurring in very small amounts in some foods and water. Although our bodies require very small amounts of selenium, certain parts of the world have now been found to have selenium deficient soil, and thus lead to more selenium deficient foods.
