COVID-19 Update Our office remains closed as we prepare to make all the updated requirements, so we can be ready to see you safely. During this time, I am still available for emergency triage and consultations. You can expect some changes to the office when you come in, and we'll explain them to you when we schedule your appointment. We'll contact you once we can safely open the office. The health and safety of our patients and our dental team is my top priority. We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
These are two rolls that definitely shouldn't last you 6 months! How quickly do you normally go through a roll of floss?
Our clinic is closed until further notice for routine dental treatment and hygiene appointments. Emergency triage/consult is available by contacting our office by phone, website or email. Also, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your dental health- or just to say hi! During this time, taking great care of your oral health is very important!... https://drwendylow.com/oral-health-ottawa-dentist/
April is Oral Health Month. We'll be posting dental and oral health info throughout the month. But first a message from us and our amazing hygienist, Roslyn!
How is everyone keeping up with their dental health? Now's the time to make sure your brushing and flossing are at its best! Dental care plays an important role in maintaining your health by preventing bacteria build up and inflammation which can affect your immune system. Routine procedures such as dental cleanings will need to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So please remember to keep up with brushing twice and day and flossing daily!
To all our patients COVID-19 Update: Dental clinic closed until further notice, all non-essential dental appointments will be rescheduled. Emergency triage available by phone Following official guidance from Ottawa Public Health, Ontario Ministry of Health and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario concerning the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, there are precautions each of us should take to minimize its impact on our community. As an immediate safety protocol to respons...ively ensure the health of our patients and staff, we are temporarily closed effective March 16, 2020 until further notice. At this time, all elective and routine dental appointments will be rescheduled. If you have an upcoming appointment and haven’t heard from us yet, please call us: (613) 233-1594. Emergency dental treatment is available via triage by phone. Please call our office or email [email protected] and I will respond by phone within 24 hours. We care about the health and well being of our patients, staff, their families and the community at large. Thank you for trusting us with your dental needs. We look forward to seeing you soon! A healthy smile is an indicator of a healthy body. When it comes to fitness, healthy eating or style, you want to give it your 100%. So why not do the same for your teeth? Brushing and flossing at home is only 50% of the work for a healthy smile. #DontStopHalfway and go see your dentist to finish the job! Consider treating yourself to a new toothbrush every 3-6 months and after a cold for optimal brushing

Happy New Year! If you haven't found a new year's resolution for 2018 yet, consider daily flossing!

It's that time of the year to take out your mitts and scarves to shield from the cold, but don't forget about your teeth! It's common to have tooth sensitivity to cold weather so make sure you keep a good oral hygiene and breath though your nose when outside.
Keeping a good oral health isn't just about clean teeth, it affects so many other parts of our bodies.
Looks like this dentist found a way to encourage oral health during Halloween without taking the fun out of dressing up and trick or treating for kids... not a bad idea! http://www.cbc.ca//dentist-halloween-candy-tooth-decay-1.4
