If we have learned anything about our students and staff since returning to school, it is that nothing can damper our school spirit and sense of togetherness. This was proven by our student driven Remembrance Day service today...although virtual and not together as we would have liked, we were together but separate in our rooms, remembering, reflecting and responding. Mme Lundstrom’s class created Art to promote peace and hope within our school. Our students chose warm, calm colours that made them feel safe, positive, grateful and hopeful. We added a dove which is a well-known symbol of hope and peace. We remember each and every Canadian affected by War and conflict. Lest we forget.
