After our conversation with Canadian D-Day veteran Jim Parks last week, teachers and students shared how much they appreciated Jim taking the time to answer their questions and share his story. "STL students created this beautiful thank you card for D-Day veteran Jim Parks after an inspiring live video conversation with this amazing Canadian hero." Thank you so much for sharing in the experience with us! Centre Juno Beach / Juno Beach Centre

The impact and value that educational travel brings to students and teachers will always remain true. As we dream of future travel plans, here's a nice reminder of the lasting impact travel has. Hear what Elaine has to say. https://youtu.be/AQtZ8g0IP_4

One of the best but also challenging parts of teaching STEM is that STEM principles seem just about everywhere. Whether you’re in a classroom, in your backyard, or across the globe (on an educational tour, of course!), STEM plays an important role in so many aspects of day-to-day life. Here are some places we recommend travelling to for STEM learning: https://bit.ly/3fQn4xE #STEM #teacherswhotravel #globallearning

We are continually blown away by the dedication and passion Stella has had for her action to clean the LeHave River. Back in 2018, as one of our EF Canadian Youth Ambassadors, we had the privilege to watch her in action as she travelled to Ecuador for action-planning workshops and then to Ottawa to connect with her local MP. There's no slowing her down and we are beyond ecstatic for her to be the youngest person ever to be awarded the Order of Nova Scotia. Congratulations Stella! More than ever, we need to pass the torch of remembrance on to the next generation. Relive (or discover for the first time) the exceptional experience that our EF travellers had at our educational hub and at the official commemoration ceremony at Vimy 100: http://bit.ly/30ne5fT

On this day of remembrance, we want to thank all the teachers and students who joined us yesterday to participate in a virtual experience we'll never forget. In partnership with the Centre Juno Beach / Juno Beach Centre, we were able to connect Jim Parks, a Canadian D-Day veteran with the next generation of Canadian youth. He shared his stories and gave us a uniquely personal insight to what it was like to serve during the Second World War. We want to give our special thanks to Jim, and pay our respects to every Canadian soldier who fought for the freedoms we have today. If you missed the event, here's the recording of Jim: https://bit.ly/3pklusl
