This past weekend in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan proved that hard work, passion and dedication result in a huge amount of satisfaction. We are blessed to have an ability to show our true selves and knowledge, and be taken for who we are. Huge Thanks to Glen & Elinor Wright and Wayne & Wendy Lambie for putting so much time and perfect organization of this "Spring Fling" event; taking care of us and endlessly feeding us food (and all your efforts fixing our old suitcase, which came... home safe and will probably last for another decade). We love you and always appreciate your efforts! Huge Thanks to our personal chafeur, tour guide, and just a great person - Grandma Sparkles - Bonita Lundberg. Just your appearance in your Sparklin' Buick immediately brightens up our day. Thanks to Nola for being the first and bravest to put herself in the spotlight, and performing waltz with Egor. Congratulations on your first performance. Thank you for the heart-melting Cha Cha formation team performance, mixed out of 3 routines we have brought. You guys were spectacular. Thanks to David & Odele from Regina who drove up early morning to attend our workshops. Your dedication and interest means a lot. Thumbs up to Elaine for giving our American Style workshops a try, despite a strong believe in International Standard. Thanks to attended university ballroom dance teachers for attending our workshops and reminding us how awesome it is to be students. This past weekend we finally had a chance to experience Western Canada, and to be exact - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It was an absolute wonderful experience, with a pretty awesome crowd. Just 5 years ago we set the goal to become Professional American Style 9-Dance Champions at Maple Leaf Classic DanceSport Championships . It was an amazing journey and it will not stop there! Finally back from an amazing weekend at The Windy City Open . We placed 2nd in Open Pro Rhythm and 3rd in Open Pro Smooth. One biggest thing we had experienced and learned from this competition, is that: No matter how tired you are, there's always a little bit strength left to keep going! What an amazing weekend we had at Can-Am DanceSport Gala. Lots of wonderful dancers, strong competition, beautiful venue, and of course lots of fun!
