I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Her Majesty the Queen and her family on the news of the passing of Prince Phillip. A Royal Navy veteran of the Second World War, the Prince served his nation not just in war time, but every single day as beloved husband to Queen Elizabeth II.
Yesterday, Ontario administered an additional 108,563 doses of COVID19 vaccine, bring our total vaccinations to 2,834,784. In total, 326,360 people have been fully vaccinated.

We welcome the leadership of General Rick Hillier (ret’d) as Chair of the new Ministers’ COVID19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force to advise the province on the development and implementation of an immunization program that will lead to the largest vaccine rollout in a generation.
This morning, Bill 214 the Time Amendment Act unanimously passed through committee. We are one step closer to stopping the clock. I want to thank the Ontario BIA Association and the 14 local chambers of commerce that supported my bill at the committee stage.
Improving adoption is a key commitment of our government’s plan to redesign the child welfare system.
