Peak season is from February to June. Work in office until comfortable working from home occasionally, if desired. -- Responsibilities Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books and prepare financial statements. Once permitted to do so, perform personal bookkeeping services occasionally at client locations. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements. Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills. Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents. Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper. Experienced in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is required. Proficient in full cycle bookkeeping and data input. Knowledge of payroll systems and processes. Must have reliable means of transportation
