The Recent Announcement Regarding Masks and How It Affects Our Clinic: As most of you are aware, the Department of Health recently added the use of non-medical masks in indoor public spaces. After clarification with Dr. Strang and his team, this new policy does NOT include private clinics such as ours. He clarified that private clinics, are NOT considered a public space. We will continue to follow all previously outlined health directives such as: ... **Asking and Recording the Covid Screening questions upon your arrival **Diligent Hand Sanitization **Patients must maintain 2m physical distancing (except during your adjustment) Provided you meet all the above criteria, you will be welcomed to the clinic either WITH or WITHOUT a mask, the choice is yours. So as always, we look forward to seeing either your smiling face or your smiling eyes, whichever is more comfortable for you. Please be aware there may be changes to the health directives and we will keep you updated as they evolve. In the meantime, if you have any questions please reach out to the clinic. We are expanding our amazing team & are hiring a permanent Part Time Receptionist! The position is 16-20 hours per week and starts in late August. If you know someone who would be an amazing fit, please ask them to drop off a resume before Friday August 7th.

Tomorrow is the big day, we are SO excited to see everyone!!! This week we made our way through most of the initial call list. Thank you so much for helping us navigate some of those initial calls. We will continue to connect with every single practice member but if you haven’t heard from us, please feel free to contact the office! It helps us GREATLY when you reach out to us. We are in the office tomorrow from 7:30am- 11:30am to answer your call! If we are not available, we will absolutely call you back by Monday afternoon.

If you didn't receive the email, it's likely we do not have your email address on file. *** After reading this email/post, it is vital that you EMAIL us at [email protected] to be put on the list. Please do not reply here. We anticipate being able to open very soon!! When we return, things will look a little different as we will be keeping with the Department of Health Orders. Our number one concern is creating a safe... space for our amazing patients and awesome team! Although we do not have all of the recommendations yet, you are assured a safe and clean space. We will still need to adhere to physical distancing measures, except during your actual adjustment. Looking at what other provinces have implemented, it is likely that the Drs. will be wearing masks in addition to other safe practices. This is What We Ask From You.... When we do re-open, our capacity to see patients will be GREATLY reduced compared to "pre-Covid". Allowing only a certain number of people in the office at a time, coupled with managing office flow and allowing for cleaning procedures, these all take additional time. These 3 factors ALONE will limit the number of patients we can serve each day. This is where we need your help... If you already know you CAN'T WAIT for us to open and would like to have an appointment within the first couple weeks, we would like to know that now. Realizing everyone's comfort level is different, we have created a "Call First List", for those that are ready to go! For the patients that have already called but didn't meet the emergency criteria, you are ALREADY on the list. We will call you when we have the reopen date. We are hoping this initial contact list will help expedite the phone calls and booking procedures. Your Next Step... Rest assured, we will be contacting everyone over the upcoming weeks so absolutely no one will be left behind. Although we are still closed, the team was back at the office last week starting to make preparations for our return. . Although, we still can’t tell you exactly when that will be, we know it’s coming soon! Upon your return, you will see a few different things like a plexiglass shield at the front desk, fewer waiting room chairs, lots of hand sanitizing stations and the Docs will likely have to wear masks. Unfortunately, there will be no handshakes, high fives or hugs given... either Hopefully this is just short term! In the next day or two, provided we have your email address on file, you will be receiving a very important email that highlights appointment availability and your next steps. It’s VERY important you respond to this email, if you want to be on the initial contact list. Based on the volume of calls we have had during this shutdown, we expect the get me in ASAP list will be long, which is why it’s a good idea to respond to the email quickly. We will be calling everyone eventually but please understand it takes a lot of time based on the number of patients we serve. After the email goes out, we will post a copy of it here as well. Lastly, while we are still unsure when the provincial government will let us reopen, we strongly believe it will be sometime in June. Alright, that’s it for now! We are so, so excited to see everyone again! Fingers crossed it’s really soon.
