Empowerment Massage is looking to grow another great team! We are hiring full time and part time positions for RMTs! As we celebrate our 16th year in the field of massage therapy, we are proud to be a foundational support for so many different RMTs starting out in their career paths. Many of our former staff have stayed with us for over 10-15 years before they moved on in their respective pathways. To all of our valued clientele, We wanted to make sure you are all aware that we have been open since May 11th. We have really been enjoying seeing you all, but it has come to our attention that some of you were unaware of our opening. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm. If you haven't been in yet, we would love to see you!!... We have made sure that all our sanitation protocols meet the WorkSafe standards as well as public health standards. We ask you to wear a mask when you come into the clinic and we are screening everyone prior to treatment. On a last note, we have changed our booking system to Soapvault so we are as paperless as possible. You may be asked to create a new online booking account and fill in a new intake form, and accept our cancellation policy via the program. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us! Who needs a massage?! Here we go with Day 1 of our re-opening! - We will be doing a health screening over the phone 3-5 days prior to your appointment - We will be ensuring there have been no changes to your health since our phone conversation - At this time, we require anyone entering the building to put a mask on before entering our doors (this can be a community face mask or anything else recommended by the Government that covers your mouth + nose). If you don't have a ...mask we will provide you with a disposable one. - Please follow proper hand washing/sanitizing guidelines upon arrival This list will be added to as protocols develop. We have a number of other precautions in place to make our opening possible: staggered appointment times allow for proper social distancing in our common clinic areas; staff has PPE requirements they are meeting; continuous sanitation of used surfaces is being done; staff is screening themselves each day; + more. Thank you so much for your patience during this time. We will continue to meet the requirements put in place by the Government and our professional association/college to ensure we are doing all we can!

We have been given the go ahead to open. Our team is looking forward to our clients returning to our clinic! As it stands, we will be asking all our clients to wear masks upon entering the clinic to protect all those involved. If you do not have one, we can provide a disposable one if needed. Our opening will be gradual as we reinstate our staff. We will be taking appointments next week while following all directed protocols from the Minister of health and our governing massage therapy bodies. Booking will be up and running online soon! Team EMC is awaiting our governing bodies to direct our protocols for reopening this summer. We are working hard to make sure that our clinic will be ready to hit the ground running when we get the green light.
