In the spirit of our Live Well cultural belief (which encourages our employees to look after work and life, health and wellness, and support those around us) we sent over 300 gift baskets to landowners and allottees in Colorado, Montana and North Dakota. Since 2017, Enerplus has seen a year-over-year decrease in reported Serious Injury or Fatality potential (SIFp) and significant safety risk incidents. This is a shoutout to Neil Pierce, the Manager of Roneil Ventures, who is never above getting his hands dirty to get a job done well. Despite his position in the company, he is in the field and on-site for every job. Two of our community partners in Calgary are managing increased demands for their services as the COVID-19 situation unfolds we wanted to find even a small way to show them were with them. In conversation about ordering hand sanitizer for our Canadian operations, we saw an opportunity to order a bit extra for the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter and @calgarydropin Big thanks to our Team Lead, Health & Safety, Angus LeMoine who collected the hand sanitizer in Red Deer and delivered it to the agencies while being mindful of safety and social distancing protocols. Meadowlark Brewery, a family-run craft brewery based in Sidney, Montana is a favorite among locals. In the last few weeks, the brewery shifted their operations to produce 2,600 12-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer. These bottles were delivered to health care and first responder groups serving the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation and nearby communities including Killdeer and Watford City. We are so grateful for the heroic work these folks are doing each day. We were elated to work with a group of our peers (EOG Resources, Oneok, and RimRock) to help offset the financial costs to make this happen. As the saying goes - when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Our colleagues Josh Ruffo and Teresa Presser responded to a call for supplies from our community members in North Dakota with a truckload of items they picked up from their local hometown businesses (yes, toilet paper included!).
