Over the past ten years, we’ve partnered with Run for Water on numerous initiatives, including the annual Run for Water event and Envision a Better World Program that educates local students on issues of global inequality, social responsibility and the sustainable use of natural resources. While this year looks a little different without the physical event, we stand by Run for Water and it’s cause proudly. That’s why we’re donating $50,000 on behalf of local students who wou...ld have been fundraising to support clean water in Ethiopia. With this donation, 1500 children in the community of Buluk will now get to attend school and not have to walk hours for water and over 9000 people will be drinking clean water for the first time this year! Local Fraser Valley students will also be building connections with the students in Buluk through a pen pal program. We are so excited about this pen pal program because during a time we all have to be distant from one another, this program will connect students around the world as they hear each other's stories and learn from one another.
