Help us, help you. With deteriorating conditions, we’re seeing quite a few accidents. When stopping for these conditions and accidents: pull over to let emergen...cy vehicles and plows through. They need to get through so they can handle the emergency and clear the way. Stay off the roads and check hotline.gov.sk.ca/mobile often. #skstorm #drivesafe @saskatchewantruckingassociation @sgi @SaskatchewanRCMP

Strong winds, snow and freezing rain are expected for parts of the province. This can result in damaged power lines. If you come across a downed power line, remember to stay 10 metres away and call us at 310-2220 or report an outage online using our tool: https://bit.ly/3mZfSC9

How can you tell if you’ve been exposed to carbon monoxide? You can’t, unless your home has a working CO Detector. SaskEnergy is partnering with retailers acros...s the province to offer an in-store $10 rebate on CO alarms from now until January 31, 2021. Visit saskenergy.com for a list of participating retail locations. Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas. You can’t see it, smell it, feel it or taste it. A blocked chimney or a cracked furnace exchanger is all it takes to become exposed to carbon monoxide. As temperatures drop, Saskatchewan households are turning on the heat. Regular maintenance and servicing by a licensed heating specialist could be the difference between heated comfort and nausea.
