You can make your own SMALL GROUP TRAINING session of 3 people and book that workout for a time that works for your group. This group could be for kids, teens, adults or a mixture of all. A 6 week Youth Fitness Training session is coming soon! Our children have less choices than ever to be active, lets get them moving! Dates: Every Wednesday for six weeks Sept 16 Oct 7 Sept 23 Oct 14... Sept 30 Oct 21 3-4 children/ class. Or make your own group of children your child is comfortable with and book a weekly time. For: Ages 9-18 (will group appropriate ages together) *kids who aren’t interested in sports *kids who aren’t getting enough daily exercise *kids who want more conditioning for the sports they play *kids who are intimidated by large group activities *kids who are interested in the strength and health of their body Benefits: *builds discipline *increases self esteem *encourages better eating habits *promotes brain/mental health *develops good habits for adulthood *stronger, healthier body & much more We will be working on a mix of strength training, cardio, flexibility, coordination, endurance, etc. We will do circuits, have one on one time and do some group activities. These workouts will be in my home gym with small groups of 3 or 4 children. Classes run 45 mins to an hour. All your child needs is comfy clothes, runners and a water bottle. Cost: $110 covers all 6 weeks Payment must be made to hold your spot. No refunds for missed classes will be given. Feel free to message Jocelyn with any questions you have.

BUDDY WORKOUTS Why share your workout time with a friend There are a ton of reasons but here are just a few:... 1. Fewer skipped workouts. Working out with a friend helps keep you accountable. 2. Push yourself further. Exercising with someone else helps you do your workout to the best of your ability. 3. Try new things. A friend can help give you a confidence boost to try something new. Be each others support system and cheer each other on! 4. Work out longer. Time flies when you are having fun, or at least distracted. Having fun with a friend makes the workout go by faster. 5. Recover together. A friend you workout with will be supportive and help you make healthy choices even when not in the gym because they are striving for the same goal. 6. Save some $$$: You can share the cost of a 1 hour private session with a friend instead of paying the entire cost yourself Buddy workouts are available every week. Its time to put that behind us and get back at it! More than ever being proactive in your own health and fitness is so very important. A 4 week Ladies Circuit Training & HIIT session starts next week! This class will be for a small group of 3-4 ladies. We will work on circuits of strength/weight training and some High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Each class will have different strength training and cardio movements. Work at your own fitness level, your only competition is yourself, everything can be modified. Great for beginners. All ages welcome! Dates: Wednesday March 18th... WEIGHT TRAINING FOR WEIGHT LOSS If you are currently trying to lose weight cardio alone isn’t the answer, especially if you plan to keep the weight off long term. Cardio and weight training combined is a much better approach. No matter your shape, size, age, or fitness level anyone can weight train, everything can be modified to anyone’s abilities! Muscles are fat burning machines!! The more muscle you put on the more calories you will burn even at rest. After your workout ...is over your body continues to burn calories repairing the muscles you worked out that day for 24-48 hours. This isn’t the case with cardio, once you step off that treadmill the calorie burn is pretty much over. Overdoing cardio can cause you to lose muscle mass, which can cause your metabolism to slow, weight training increases your metabolism. Losing weight can cause loose skin to become a problem. Adding muscle helps fill out the body in all the right places making the appearance of loose skin much less. Weight training will also give the appearance of a leaner, stronger, more defined and toned body.
